Dawki a small town located near the india-bangladesh border, West Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya, India is Growing famous for its Immense Natural Beauty ,Heritage sites & its sweet , juicy orange market. There are many cultural, historial sites but one thing that attracts more is the dawki lake located near the Tamabil-Dawki checkpost.
The Lake/River water is so clear that you can see the bed of the river . When boating in this incredible lake it seems like all the boats are hanging in the air.The fishing, boating and enjoying the cold bath is quite amazing here.
